Scotland's website and for showing an interest in one of Avondale Care Scotland's Care Homes. We are a small
family run organisation currently comprising of three purpose built facilities, Benore Care Home in Ballingry, Fife,
Carrondale Care Home in Falkirk and a specialised Dementia Facility, Lister House in Ballingry, Fife which
has a GOLD AWARD from Stirling University Dementia Services for Dementia Design
and was The 2011 Winner at The Scottish Care Awards in The Care Home Design Category. We also have a purpose
built Daycare facility at Lister House and provide Care in the Community through ACS Care at Home. (Details of all these facilities

As a family we are committed
to providing the highest levels of care for our Service Users at all times which is reflected in our grades
from the Care Inspectorate. The Directors play a very active role within the business and are constantly on hand to assist
our extremely experienced and competent managers to achieve their goals.
Avondale
Care Scotland strives to provide our teams with everything they require from quality produce from local suppliers to
state of the art equipment such as 4 part electric profiling beds, ensuring we are constantly providing the very best
for our Service Users. We strive to implement new ideas and techniques as they are discovered and embrace new technology
as it is developed which has been proven to assist in the care of people suffering from Dementia. This is particularly evident
in our New Dementia Facility which clearly leads the way in Dementia Care in Scotland. We actively seek such innovation and
regularly attend shows and conferences specialising in the promotion of Dementia Care. Our latest investment has been in Digital
Reminiscence Therapy Software & Hardware which has proven to be very successful - more details can be found at www.dementialife.com
